Comunidades caiçaras e expansão portuária em Santos: Uma análise histórica do conflito sócio-ambiental

Abstract

The Economic-Ecological-Zoning developed at Santos metropolitan area until 2004 year had shown us several social and environmental struggle and had also offered the main sources to do this work. In this article, we choose the port and industrial axe to analyze the conflict for the property of the land in two different fishermen communities: Conceiçãozinha and Diana Island. By the way we show how was the evolution of the conflict among the communities, the market economy and the public power.
