Bancos e Crédito no Brasil: 1945-2007

Abstract

The paper approaches the Brazilian banking history of the subsequent period World Var II until the current days. It presents six phases of the history of the currency and the banks in Brazil. Phase 2003- 2006 is marked in the Brazilian banking history as of popular access the banks and credit. The recent evolution of the credit is presented jointly with the politics of prevention of the risk of the popular credit.
