Abstract
This work is focused on the demography of the kingdom of Cordova in the Early Modern Age, and more specifically, the «realengo» territory of this geographical entity. In this sense, a review is made of the secular evolution of the human population, analyzing demographic characteristics and the causes that explain the statistics. This analysis has been extended, as far as possible, to the different regions of this territory.
This vision of the population of Cordoba has been completed with the study of the structure of settlement as well as the negative effect of the epidemics and the migratory movements.
