Notas preliminares sobre: Los largos ciclos políticos en Haití durante los siglos XX y XXI y sus efectos en el crecimiento económico

Abstract

This paper studies the long political cycles in Haiti from the American intervention in 1915 until the present electoral crisis. We see that the country has registered four long political cycles during this period. In addition, we examine the effects of these cycles on economic growth. This article is based on extensive primary sources and scientific works as well as several statistical series and press releases.
