Abstract
This article presents macroeconomic statistics on eight Latin American countries beginning in the XIX century: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. This group is now responsible for almost 70% of Latin America’s gross domestic product and 90% of its population. This data was gathered from various sources and refer to real GDP, population, and the consumer price index. From this data, we also provide per capita income and GDP expressed in purchasing power. The main concern of this article was merely the listing of the annual historical data, without addressing or discussing the historic events portrayed in the data. This objective is left to the economic historians.
