A ótica do empresariado fluminense sobre o Governo Collor

Abstract

This article analyzes the activities of the Federation of Industries of Rio de Janeiro State (FIRJAN) within the context of the political and economic actions of the Collor government, regarding, among others, financing of production and structural reforms that affected the production process. As an extension of the above theme, we tried to explain the collaboration of Rio entrepreneurs with workers in the capital-labor-government complex that envisioned increased income and job maintenance, and finally, we examine the economic impact caused by the political crisis that began with the “PC” scandal, which engendered changes in directions and short-term goals for this fraction of the ruling class.
